Biomass Energy Material Supply

Biomass refers to organic materials derived from plants, animals, and other living organisms that can be used as a renewable energy source. It includes wood, agricultural residues, food waste, animal manure, and energy crops. Biomass can be converted into biofuels, biogas, and heat through processes like combustion, fermentation, and gasification. As a sustainable alternative to fossil fuels, biomass plays a key role in reducing carbon emissions and promoting clean energy solutions.

Palm Kernel Shell (PKS)

Palm Kernel Shell (PKS) refers to the hard shell that surrounds the kernel of the oil palm fruit (Elaeis guineensis). It is a byproduct of palm oil processing and is commonly used as biomass fuel due to its high calorific value. PKS is also utilized in industries such as construction (as aggregate in concrete), activated carbon production, and animal feed. It is an environmentally friendly alternative to fossil fuels, widely used in power plants and industrial boilers.

The demand for PKS has increased rapidly. With our great partners of Palm Oil companies, we can supply a great amount of PKS matching the customers’ expectation. GGL certified PKS and Non-GGL certified PKS are available.

Palm Oil Mill Effluent (POME)

POME (Palm Oil Mill Effluent) is a liquid waste byproduct generated during the processing of palm oil from fresh fruit bunches (FFBs). It consists of water, oil residues, and suspended solids, making it highly organic and biodegradable. POME is typically treated before disposal to prevent environmental pollution and can be utilized for biogas production, composting, and as a nutrient source in agriculture.

With the increase in its popularity, POME can be used as biofuel in many countries. GGL certified and Non-GGL certified POME are available.

Used Cooking Oil (UCO)

Used Cooking Oil (UCO) refers to vegetable or animal-based oils and fats that have been used for cooking or frying food. After use, the oil undergoes chemical changes due to heat, oxidation, and contamination with food particles. UCO is commonly recycled for producing biodiesel, animal feed, soap, and other industrial applications. Proper disposal and recycling of used cooking oil help prevent environmental pollution and clogged drainage systems

Wood Pellets

Wood Pellet is a type of biomass fuel made from compressed sawdust, wood shavings, and other wood waste materials. These small, cylindrical pellets are widely used for heating, power generation, and industrial applications due to their high energy density, low moisture content, and efficient combustion. Wood pellets are considered a renewable and environmentally friendly energy source, commonly used in pellet stoves, boilers, and biomass power plants.
